Orlando is going to have a new obesity center

Nemours, a well known children's health system known is planning
to open an obesity center in Orlando to deal with the rising problem
of childhood obesity. The new obesity center, which is going to
open next summer inside Nemours' planned new clinic to be built
near the Mall at Millenia. The main aim of the clinic is to remove
obesity from the root.
Dr. Reinaldo Figueroa of Nemours in the Orlando division of gastroenterology
and nutrition will lead the center's multidisciplinary team, which
will include a pediatrician trained in gastroenterology and nutrition,
a dietitian, exercise physiologist/physical therapists, psychologists
and a social worker. It will help to curtail the increasing number
of obese children in and around the area.
