October 03, 2005
Obesity is not the only health issue in the American Health Department
list, but also eating disorder among teenage girls and college going
women have evoked a new reason to panic. Eighty percent of women
are dissatisfied with their looks, one percent of teenagers suffer
due to eating disorders and five percent of college - age women
have anorexia and bulimia.
Due to weight related concerns, some women have depression and
others low self esteem. High school girls are getting affected by
this weight management issue so much that it's affecting their studies
and health. Most of the depression rise from the girls' unsuccessful
dream to be like celebrities who manage a perfect figure and look
good on screen. Women in order to look beautiful go to extreme measures
and end up in the doctor's room requiring medical attention.
